@ericinghammontevista It is possible that the US Marine was sent to the army for training? A very long committment, but it is possible. Many Marines have successfully completed Ranger school. However are US Marines authorized to wear army tabs?

@sparekibbles special forces refers to the army “green berets”. navy seals, army rangers, marsoc marines are special operations forces. “green berets” is just a nickname. their real name is special forces

so tell me, how do you get marsoc marine when only the army wears the special forces tab?

The guy in the beginning, the regular sailor, total pencil pusher. If it weren’t for the fact that he was enlisted, I would have guessed he was from the Naval Academy.
