Navy Seals Skydiving Shane Patton

by Navy Seals Training on January 15, 2012

Shane Patton and other Navy Seals in jump school. Great skydiving video. Go here shanepatton.blogspot.com to read about Shane. He was a US Navy Seal and was KIA June 28, 2005 in Afghanistan. Also, the new book "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell is in stores now and tells the story of what happened to Shane and the other Navy Seals on June 28, 2005. http

@TheRibbonAce Oh crap my bad..I meant that i thought people with bachelors dont have to go to OCS. my bad. But yeah I understand man. Like i said here is to trying.

Parker739 May 28, 2010 at 4:25 am

@TheRibbonAce focus on getting to BUD/S first.

TheRibbonAce May 28, 2010 at 4:31 am

@sealdude00 And even if I make it to secure hell week I still have to go to SQT and all of that. I only think having to be in that ice cold kodiak water will suck the most haha. But here’s to trying anyways. I didnt say Im the shit and that its going to be cake..Hell no not even close. lol

TheRibbonAce May 28, 2010 at 4:46 am

@sealdude00 If i remember correctly most with Bachelors dont have to go to SQT. There is also a good wait for bud/s. My buddy decided to go SWCC because of this. I still plan to shoot for it after school is done Either way. The physical requirements for Bud/s are really not bad for people who were/are athletes. But if i ever make it in I really hope I get with a good class. I need to change what i said I believe it really is only 20 percent physical in BUD/s and the rest mental.

BigPalDit May 28, 2010 at 7:42 am

Yeah dude, all the mental stuff is based on your physical shape… better shape you’re in the easier it will be mentally.

TheRibbonAce May 28, 2010 at 10:05 am

@sealdude00 Thats true;its hard, almost impossible for many. But im the person to never give up no matter how bad it gets. If I fail I’ll keep trying. I do believe what you tell me but is it not worth going for it?

sealdude00 May 28, 2010 at 11:04 am

@TheRibbonAce wow dude high hopes.. you plan on being an officer… that is IF you get accepted to OCS. almost as hard to get into as bud/s. good luck… :)

Gordonalways1 May 28, 2010 at 11:33 am

@sbyrne411 haha hell yea

sbyrne411 May 28, 2010 at 11:56 am

you said “It’s 10% physical.”

i said “more like 30-40%”

your last reply made no sense… youre on a totally different page

Oxstayne May 28, 2010 at 12:21 pm

no %70-%90 don’t pass BUD/s depending on the class. And some don’t pass SQT. BUD/s is the most difficult training in the world. Go talk to this guy on YouTube Username: Buds131

sbyrne411 May 28, 2010 at 12:37 pm

more like 30-40%

Oxstayne May 28, 2010 at 1:12 pm

SEALs go through (BUD/s Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL training) Three phases then if you pass, %80 don’t., SEAL Qualification Training, it qualifies you as a SEAL if you pass.

Oxstayne May 28, 2010 at 1:30 pm

You plan on going to BUD/s? It’s 10% physical.

Oxstayne May 28, 2010 at 2:02 pm

They aren’t SEALs yet, if they are still in Jump school, they’re still in Jump School.
