Top notch page turner! I’ve read most of the Machinko books and this one ranks right up there with the best! A fast paced story about a young SEAL officer trying to cope with the memory of his hero father. Author’s website SEALSTRIKE.com indicates a sequel is on the way!

I couldn’t put this book down. It was a great story filled with just enough technical material to give it authenticity without being tedious. The author takes you for an insiders look into the SEALs and their combat methodology. The characters are believable and compelling. I just ordered the author’s new book The Warrior Code: SEAL Strike Book Two. … Two Thumbs up!!!

I really enjoyed DEATH BEFORE DAWN! I’ve read a ton of SEAL and special forces books but this one was different. I felt like I was evesdropping on an actual SEAL mission. Most books use all the right words and lingo but this story made you FEEL what it’s like to be a SEAL going in harms way. A must read for all military action enthusiasts!

This was one of the smoothest reads I’ve ever experienced. I used to read Tom Clancy but the stories became bogged down in a ton of boring techno-detail. Mr. Strong’s first effort is obviouly directed at readers who want to learn more about the inside world of the elite SEALs without becoming eligible for college credit. I enthusiastically endorse this novel to anyone who enjoys a fast paced action oriented story about real life heroes. I’m sure the missions outlined in this book are being conducted all over the world now that we are at war with terror.

Death Before Dawn follows the actions of Matthew Barrett, United States Navy SEAL, as he leads his handpicked team of elite SEALs in pursuit of an Islamic fanatic. The novel is very fast paced and considering the tragedy in NY, it is an appropriate book for every American to read! If you really want to know what the U.S. Special Operations guys are going to do overseas – READ THIS BOOK!
